Suppose you finally found the job opening that looks like a perfect match. To apply, you may send your CV to the HR who has posted it (all of our HRs have emails on the profee.com domain), or to hr@profee.com. You may use the address to send us your CV even if you are not spotting a current opening matching your profile – we keep a database of candidates and may ask you to consider applying for a position even before publishing it!

If your skills are in line with the requirements for a job at Profee, one of our HRs will contact you to arrange a screening. They will tell you about the job in more detail, ask general questions about your background and experience and guide you through the whole process, from your first interaction with us to onboarding. You will learn about all the stages you need to complete to become a part of the Profee team – their number and order may vary depending on the position you are applying for.

After the screening, we proceed to challenge your hard skills. You will have one or more interviews with your future teammates: they will question you about your background and expectations and may ask you to complete a sample task. Sample tasks help you understand what your future role will imply, as well as to show your skills and approaches. In general, we do not pay for sample tasks, and do not benefit from them.

Staying safe online

As an IT company, we are proficient in online security. We understand that job search involves a lot of stress, so even tech-savvy specialists may get lost sometimes – so we remind you about the basic safety rules.

  • Ask for proof if you are unsure of whom you are talking to. Each of our recruiters has an email address on the profee.com domain and may send you a letter from it. If they insists on using messengers only, drop us a line to hr@profee.com to clarify the details about the job opening.
  • Do not download any suspicious attachments or software. We use standard software for video calls, like Zoom or sometimes Google meet, and will never ask you to download any additional software you may be unfamiliar with. We use standard file formats for sending you the necessary documents.
  • Do not disclose any sensitive information. We may ask for your bank card or account number for paying your salary, but we do so only after sending you the job offer and starting the preboarding process. What’s more, we never ask for sensitive details, like your CVC/CVV code, passwords, etc. We never ask for access to your computer or phone before you start working with us.
  • Do not pay admission fees. We never ask you to pay any admission fees, tax payments, etc. if someone urges you to send money via Profee to start the working process, they are likely scammers targeting your assets rather than recruiters.

Applying like a pro

Here is how you can increase your chances of securing your position:

  • Prepare for the interview in advance. Learn some basic information about us (on LinkedIn, in the media publications, etc.). Check out what are the requirements for the specific role and highlight your skills and experience that make you a perfect match.
  • Outline your expectations. What is the amount of salary you would find suitable? Which career opportunities would keep you motivated? Which innovations are you ready to bring in to make Profee better? Be ready to dwell on your ideas to stand out!
  • Follow the online etiquette rules. In general, we carry out the job interviews online. Even though the atmosphere at Profee is rather informal and we try to avoid bureaucracy and complex procedures, we value each other’s time and effort. Join the call on time (or notify your HR in advance in case of delay), and be ready to turn on your camera – we will be happy to e-meet you!
  • Stay in touch. Don’t hesitate to contact your HR for updates about the application or admission process – we will surely keep you updated, but we also encourage you to ask for details if you lack any information.
